Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate orders for food and drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food handling procedures to ensure proper food safety practices are followed
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
Engage with guests to enhance their experience, addressing any questions or special requests
Qualifications
Prior restaurant experience or food service experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
