Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing fuel transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the station. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a professional appearance.

Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or cashiering are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and ensure customer satisfaction
Operate POS systems for cash handling and processing payments accurately
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering assistance
Perform basic merchandising tasks, including restocking supplies and maintaining station cleanliness
Upsell additional products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance sales opportunities
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling of fuel and cleaning procedures
Manage phone inquiries professionally using good phone etiquette




Maintain organizational skills to keep the station tidy and well-stocked throughout shifts
Assist with product demos or promotional activities when needed

Qualifications
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while managing time effectively
Excellent organizational skills to keep work areas clean and stocked
Demonstrated professionalism with positive phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong time management skills
A friendly attitude with a focus on providing exceptional customer service

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, have strong organizational abilities, and are eager to contribute positively to a team environment. Pay: $18.25 per hour
