The Haines Mile Pub has been busier than ever, and we need an extra set of hands to help keep up. We're looking for a full time Manager or Supervisor, with open availability, who has a passion for this industry. A keen eye for detail, solid work ethic, and excellent attitude are essential!
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, and bartenders to ensure smooth daily operations
Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
Oversee food preparation and serving processes to maintain high quality standards
Enforce food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and seamless service flow
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and ambiance to enhance guest satisfaction
Train team members on hospitality best practices, food industry standards, and operational procedures
Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining accountability for all financial activities
Requirements
Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment with strong leadership skills
Extensive food service experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling techniques
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures
Previous restaurant management experience preferred
Robust communication skills with the ability to interview candidates confidently and provide constructive feedback
Ability to work in quick-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
