Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in
Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu options, or special events
Maintain transparent communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service delivery
Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience
Monitor waiting lists and inform guests of estimated wait times while offering complimentary beverages or amenities when appropriate
Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors
Experience
Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
