Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
Answer phone inquiries with courteous and clear communication, handling reservation requests and guest questions
Maintain a clean, organized host station and waiting area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Assist with guest needs during their visit, including providing menus or information about specials
Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles within restaurants or hotels
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems such as Clover is preferred
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; experience in hotel settings is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Knowledge of customer service principles and hospitality standards
Basic understanding of food service safety and hygiene practices
