We are seeking an experienced skilled and detail-oriented Custom Architectural Millwork / Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in custom woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to craft high-quality custom cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency with power and hand tools, a keen eye for design and precision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, assemble, and stage cabinets and furniture based on specifications and design plans
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and precise cuts
Operate power tools and personal hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area, following all safety protocols
Qualifications
Proven experience in furniture/cabinet making & woodworking
Must have and maintain a set of personal hand tools
Skilled in using both power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., chisels, sanders)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
High attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
