As a key member of the North East Behavioural Supports Ontario Team, you'll lead initiatives supporting staff in Long-term Care Homes and other settings.
Utilize your knowledge of dementia, mental health, and other neurological conditions while engaging in quality improvement initiatives. This role involves travel throughout the Cochrane district and demands adaptability and solid advocacy skills for BSO's mission. Key Responsibilities:
Lead integrated care through specialized clinical consultation
Support staff in Long-term Care Homes and acute care
Engage with Geriatric Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams
Facilitate capacity enhancement and knowledge-to-practice
Advocate effectively in qualified and public forums Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health field; Master’s preferred
Relevant Geriatric Mental Health Certifications are assets
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office needed
Bilingual in English/French required; assessment to follow Utilize your expertise in geriatric care to significantly impact the wellbeing of older adults in the Cochrane District.
