We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in home care environments. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, particularly those with special needs such as disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe setting
Help clients with mobility and transfer tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary
Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
Assist with activities tailored to individual needs, including dementia or hospice care
Follow care plans meticulously and document care provided accurately
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care
Qualifications
Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
Knowledge of patient care, caregiving, and medication administration
Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
Robust communication skills and compassionate nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid background check and willingness to undergo necessary training
Certification in caregiving or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
