High Gear Modular is looking for a certified Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our crew on a rotational contract, working on modular workforce camp construction. If you take pride in doing the job right, don't mind being away from home for stretches, and want to work somewhere your name isn't just a number on a schedule, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Installing and connecting plumbing and gas systems in modular units
Disconnecting and installing hot water tanks, furnaces, gas lines, sinks, etc.
What You Need
Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter ticket (required)
A valid Class 5 licence and a clean-enough abstract
Comfortable communicating in English, spoken and written
Physically able to handle demanding work outdoors in all kinds of weather
Willing to go through client site requirements — orientations, medicals, drug/alcohol testing, etc.
A team player who shows up and follows through
Nice to Have
Background in modular construction,
water/sewage systems, or utility infrastructure
CSTS 2020
Tickets like H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Elevated Work Platform, or First Aid
Comfortable running equipment
Rotation & Pay
