Join Primoris Canada as a skilled Journeyman Pipefitter in Fort McMurray, AB, taking on physically demanding tasks both indoors and outdoors. This role focuses on pipe installation, testing, and meticulous rigging. In this position, you will be integral to connecting pipes, hydro-testing, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
You will work in a team and employ various tools for pipe bending and cutting, while also being responsible for maintaining equipment such as pumps and hydraulic systems. The role offers a energetic shift schedule of 10 days on followed by 24 days off. Key Responsibilities:
Comply with safety rules and standards
Select and size pipe systems based on blueprints
Construct support hangers according to specs
Perform pressure tests for leaks in systems
Connect pipes using various joint methods Requirements:
Alberta ticketed journeyman or recognized certification
Ability to work in a team-oriented workplace
Physically able to lift 50 lbs
