Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, food safety, and retail operations within a energetic food industry setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to company standards
Assist customers with selections, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area in compliance with food safety regulations
Restock shelves and display cases to ensure product availability and presentation
Manage time effectively to serve customers efficiently during busy periods
Upsell products to enhance sales and improve customer experience
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met




Experience in food preparation, food service
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during shifts
Understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling proceduresb
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is a plus
Ability to upsell products effectively to maximize sales opportunities
