Job Overview

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared with attention to quality, presentation, and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Assist with meal preparation and planning in collaboration with the kitchen team.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.




Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting.
Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to prepare a variety of meals while maintaining high standards of quality.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the culinary field.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
