Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating the ability to tackle various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role is crucial in ensuring that facilities are well-maintained, secure, and functional for all occupants.
Duties
Perform general maintenance and repairs on Drywall, Carpentry, minor electrical work. Ex. Replacing light fixtures, and faucets, & more.
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
Handle minor carpentry tasks including repairs to doors, windows, and cabinetry.
Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal.
Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks.
Skills
Has license and vehicle.
Fluent in verbal and written English.
Has their own basic tools.
Strong work ethic.
Proficiency in carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing,
electrical work.
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in maintenance work.
