We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. This role requires a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to deliver exceptional food service to our guests.

The Breakfast

Cook plays a vital role in ensuring that breakfast offerings are prepared efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety guidelines
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred, especially with meal preparation and cooking
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Robust understanding of serving, food preparation, and cooking methods specific to breakfast dishes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
