Job Summary

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Welders Helper! In this energetic role, you will support skilled welders by preparing materials, handling tools, and assisting with welding operations to ensure efficient and safe production. Duties
Assist welders with setting up equipment, including rigging and positioning materials for welding tasks
Handle hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to prepare components for welding
Support welding operations by holding or moving parts during MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding processes under supervision
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including handling ductwork, assemblies, and other fabrication materials
Use calipers and basic math skills to measure parts accurately for proper fit-up




Assist with the operation of forklifts and cranes for material handling and rigging purposes

Experience
Previous construction or manufacturing experience is highly preferred, especially in roles involving assembly or mechanical work
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques (MIG/TIG), plasma cutting, and press brake machines is a plus
Knowledge of mechanical systems, ductwork fabrication, or machining processes will be advantageous
Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a bonus but not required initially
Basic understanding of schematics, assembly instructions, and safety protocols in a manufacturing workplace

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
