An exciting prospect exists to support our maintenance department in an ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 registered premier metal finishing company primarily servicing the automotive and construction industries.
RESPONISIBILITES:
Responsible for working in compliance with established protected work practices and procedures.
Responsible for routine maintenance and repairs of metal finishing equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Perform appropriate preventative Maintenance work per the maintenance schedule.
Verifies and communicates repairs are complete and effective.
Perform continuous improvements and enhancements to equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Responsible for inventory and some purchasing of maintenance supplies.
Working collaboratively with machine operators to solve mechanical matters.
Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma is required.
Certified industrial Mechanic or Millwright or equivalent manufacturing mechanical work experience in the trade will also be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment
Strong mechanical and electrical experience is required.
Knowledge pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing and welding is also required.
Excellent leadership, organization, written and verbal communication and comprehension of the English language.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and ability to drive to root cause.
ENTAILMENTS:
Must be available for overtime when required and some weekends.
The successful candidate will supply own tools for the requirements of this position.
