Goliath Grower Services is seeking energetic and adaptable individuals to join our team for a rapid-paced, rewarding season in our Garden Centre!
Position Summary
Join our dynamic team for a 5–6 week seasonal pop-up Garden Centre, operating from late April to June. As a Garden Centre Associate, you’ll wear multiple hats—supporting order receiving and set-up, providing outstanding customer service, caring for live goods, handling cash at the till, and assisting with inventory control. You’ll work outdoors in a small, team-oriented team (1–2 other associates), rotating between morning, midday, and afternoon shifts. This role is physically demanding and ideal for garden lovers who thrive on variety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and set up plant and product orders
Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer support
Care for plants: watering, maintenance, and monitoring plant health
Operate the cash register and process sales transactions
Maintain inventory accuracy and restock displays
Keep work area clean, secure, and organized
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
Passion for plants, gardening, and customer service
Extremely reliable and punctual
Ability to lift, bend, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability
Previous retail or Garden Centre experience is an asset
