Scharringa Greenhouses is hiring a Greenhouse Repairs and Maintenance Technician to maintain greenhouse structures, equipment, and systems.
Key Duties:
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on structures, irrigation, heating, cooling, and control systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Work with battery operated vehicles
Conduct preventative maintenance and keep accurate repair records on vehicles and equipment
Maintain a clean, secure workspace.
Requirements:
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (greenhouse or agricultural background preferred).
Skilled with hand and power tools; physically fit for lifting, climbing, and diverse temperatures.
Robust problem-solving and teamwork ability.
AZ or DZ license is an asset for delivering during busy shipping season.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in machinery, climate control, irrigation, welding, or fabrication.
