As the Head Butcher you will be responsible for many different aspects of what makes Ribeye an exceptional butcher shop.
Responsibilities:
Opening and/or closing of the shop
Leads and motivates the butcher team, ensuring smooth daily operations and goal achievement
Sausage making and grinding meats - utilizing all trim efficiently to reduce waste
Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat roasts
Cut carcasses, sides and quarters of beef
Maximizes sales potential through efficient prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising
Ensure all customers are receiving that ‘wow’ experience

What do you need?
1 years in related position
1 year butcher experience
Whole animal butchery experience
Food Safe Certificate
Passion for the craft of butchery, naturally raised meats, and animal welfare
Robust ability to communicate effectively
Ambition and drive to create the best experience for your team and customers
A drive to find solutions rather than point out problems
Availability for shifts between 10:00 AM to 7:00PM.
