Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our finance and human resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role requires proficiency with various payroll and accounting software, strong data entry skills, and a solid understanding of human resources and accounting principles. The Payroll Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining accurate employee compensation records and supporting overall financial operations.

Duties
Process payroll using systems such as Jonas and Maestro
Ensure timely and accurate data entry related to employee hours, wages, deductions, and perks
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management review
Manage accounts payable and receivable related to payroll transactions
Maintain employee records related to compensation, benefits, and tax information
Assist with year-end payroll processing and tax filings
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies




Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis of payroll data
Update and maintain payroll software systems and ensure data integrity across platforms

Requirements
Prior experience in Payroll administration in construction industry is essential
Proven experience with payroll processing using systems Jonas and Maestro
Solid knowledge and experience with Multiple union reporting and communications
Proficiency in excel
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills to interpret payroll data and generate reports
Familiarity with human resources functions related to payroll administration
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
