A premier dental specialty practice in Toronto is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive care and support to patients in the Recovery Room before, during, and after dental surgery procedures.

Position Details
Salary: Competitive, starting from $45 per hour.
Job Type: Casual
Schedule: 8-hour shifts and 10-hour shifts, including weekends as needed.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver secure and effective care to patients in the Recovery Room, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
Adhere to professional standards as set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and relevant dental nursing associations.
Demonstrate compassion and empathy, maintaining effective communication with the surgical team and physicians.
Prepare surgical equipment and assist during procedures.
Plan and implement nursing care based on patient needs, including post-operative health teaching to support recovery.
Maintain patient confidentiality in line with legislation.




Manage medication inventory and perform administrative duties as required.

Requirements
Must be available to work Saturdays.
Registered Nurse (RN) License, required in Ontario.
Current BLS Certification, required; PALS and ACLS Certifications, preferred.
Proven experience in a nursing role; dental or surgical setting experience is an advantage.
