The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Academic Tutor in Abbotsford who is passionate about supporting students in both their academic growth and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies
Create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style
Assist with homework, assignments, and exam preparation




Monitor student progress and provide updates to families and the Tutor Doctor team
Encourage confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning

What We’re Looking For
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is considered an asset
Solid knowledge in one or more academic subject areas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, versatile, and able to adapt to different learning styles
Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Mission
