Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food service, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by preparing components for dishes under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen manager
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations to promote a secure dining environment
Assist in plating and presentation of dishes as needed
Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure productive kitchen workflow during service hours
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, equipment use,



and sanitation

Qualifications
Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or food service environments is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Basic understanding of meal preparation and cooking techniques
Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering quality service
Flexibility to work during restaurant hours, including weekends and evenings if required
