Responsibilities
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers and movement
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living workplace
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Document care provided, report changes in health status, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Qualifications
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly preferred
Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and caring for individuals with disabilities is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of caregiving tasks
Solid communication skills and compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
