Role Description

This is a full time, in office role based in Mississauga, ON. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead mechanical and HVAC projects across commercial, residential high-rise, and industrial facilities and be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex HVAC, mechanical, and building systems projects
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources from kickoff to close-out
Coordinate internal CBS teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Oversee installation of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, BAS, piping, and related systems
Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and safety requirements
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
Manage change orders, contract administration, and cost control
Maintain strong client relationships and represent CBS in meetings




Review shop drawings, RFIs, commissioning plans, and turnover documentation
Support quality assurance and commissioning activities
Mentor Project Managers and support continuous improvement within the team

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
10+ years of project management experience in mechanical/HVAC construction, with a focus on commercial and high-rise buildings
Solid technical knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS, and mechanical installations
Trade background in HVAC, plumbing, or pipefitting considered an asset

Other Information
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year (based on work experience)
