Job Summary
Willow Point Collsion is under recent ownership and is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring and upholding a high level of craftsmanship. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and team oriented environment. Experience in dealership settings or autobody repair is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools This role is being offered as a flat rate position.

Duties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
Apply paint, and coatings using spray equipment with precision
Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and finishes
Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools and supplies
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools




Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during painting processes
Familiarity with R&I; procedures a plus

Qualifications
Proven experience as a painter, preferably in automotive environments
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair or machinery is highly desirable
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for preparing surfaces or moving materials
Experience with automotive painting or repair is required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced setting
Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, or lifting during projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
