Make a meaningful impact as a Casual Occupational Therapist with SE Health in Whitby/Belleville. Help clients regain independence and navigate their driving journeys with skill and compassion. In this part time role, you will integrate various assessments to evaluate clients’ driving abilities following changes in their health status.
Working one day a week, you'll be an essential part of a dedicated team providing rehabilitation support. You will conduct driving assessments, create tailored rehabilitation programs, and collaborate closely with driving instructors and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-clinic and on-road driving assessments
Provide vehicle access assessments for mobility aid users
Establish client goals and resources for support
Plan client-centered driver rehabilitation programs
Complete detailed assessment and vehicle prescription reports Requirements:
Membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
Preferred experience in acute or community rehabilitation
Reliable and adaptable work ethic
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to recent computer applications Emphasize your clinical expertise and compassion to support your clients' return to driving at SE Health.
