As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Representative – Air & Ocean to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new customers for air freight, ocean freight, and freight forwarding services
Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry contacts, and other sales channels
Understand customers' international shipping requirements and provide suitable air freight, ocean freight, and integrated logistics solutions
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing and service terms with customers
Follow up on sales leads and convert opportunities into active accounts
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for newly developed customers
This is a sales-focused position. The primary responsibility is to develop current customers and generate new air and/or ocean freight business. This is not an operations-focused role.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of sales experience in air freight, ocean freight, freight forwarding, or international logistics
Sales experience in either air freight or ocean freight is required; experience in both is a solid asset
Proven ability to develop new customers and generate new business
Existing customer relationships or an established network within the freight forwarding/logistics industry is a strong asset
Valuable understanding of international air and/or ocean freight services, pricing, and shipping processes
Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Valuable English communication skills and Mandarin proficiency is required

Base Salary + Sales Commission
