Sanitation Cleaner – Food Manufacturing Facility

Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term

We are currently hiring a Sanitation Cleaner for a food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production workplace and ensuring that designated areas are properly cleaned according to company standards.

This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production workplace.

Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, floors, and other designated areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and wash floors as required.
Clean and maintain washrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas.
Remove garbage and dispose of waste properly.
Clean and sanitize tools, surfaces, and equipment according to company procedures.
Follow cleaning schedules and instructions provided by the supervisor.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
Maintain cleaning supplies and report when supplies need to be replenished.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Report any cleaning, safety,



or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Perform other general cleaning and sanitation duties as required.

Requirements
Previous cleaning, sanitation, or janitorial experience is an asset.
Experience in a food manufacturing or production setting is an asset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
