Job Overview
We are seeking a agile and skilled Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing humidifiers, thermostats, zoning equipment, as well as maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems in residential properties.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes
Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including boilers, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and appliances
Use diagnostic tools to test electrical components and ensure proper system functioning
Experience
Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems within residential environments
Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, appliance repair, boiler maintenance, and property maintenance
Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation and system upgrades
Ability to read schematics accurately and understand HVAC design principles
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred
Previous field service experience demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills in real-time situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
