Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to customer preferences.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista is an asset.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash management.
Robust time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Previous experience in food preparation is an asset though not required
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
