VW Social Club is looking to hire the right individuals to serve as Security Guards/Hosts in the evening on weekdays. Candidates will have completed the provincial training program and possess a valid Manitoba Security Guard license, and have some amount of experience in a security position. Experience in a bar/nightclub will virtually guarantee you an interview.
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess solid interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), a keen eye for detail, non violent crisis intervention training, and a "Words first, hands last" mindset.
This position is eligible for a staff discount, as well as tip sharing.

Skills
Robust understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols
Experience with surveillance technology and CCTV operation
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Outstanding communication skills for interacting professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency responders
This position also involves some collective end of shift cleaning duties.
