We’re hiring an Night Shift Foreman to lead our injection-moulding team. This is a hands-on supervisory role. You will plan labour, run the shift safely, and take the lead on mould changes, start-ups, and in-process adjustments to keep quality and throughput on target.
Key responsibilities
Lead and perform die changes, start-ups, and transparent lines
Troubleshoot quality and process issues; minimize scrap and downtime; escalate maintenance requirements.
Coordinate operators, assign work, verify material and tool readiness, and maintain housekeeping.
Work with quality staff to approve first-off and in-process checks; complete shift reports (production, scrap, downtime).
Train and coach operators on protected work practices, standard work, and basic quality checks.
Oversee auxiliary equipment (dryers, loaders, thermolators, chillers, etc. as applicable).
Communicate clear hand-off to the next shift and flag any open issues.
Required qualifications (must-have)
Direct injection-moulding experience in a production environment.
Proven ability to lead and perform die changes, setups, and processing on injection-moulding machines.
Working knowledge of common thermoplastics, purging, colour/material changeovers, and basic root-cause troubleshooting.
Solid leadership and communication skills; able to organize work and hold a team to high standards.
Commitment to safety and quality; able to complete accurate, legible records.
Physically able to handle the demands of the role
Forklift certification
