We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess robust mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides for accurate diagnostics
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and mechanical expertise
Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repairs or upgrades
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and addressing customer concerns professionally
Requirements
Valid mechanic license or certification required
Dealership experience preferred but not mandatory; relevant automotive repair experience is essential
Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
Ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting required) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Experience with automotive maintenance, repair procedures, and assembly processes
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Pay: From $42.00 per hour
