Responsibilities
Accurately measure and batch ingredients such as cement, sand, gravel, and water according to project specifications
Operate heavy equipment including mixers, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently
Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials in the warehouse or storage area
Conduct routine inspections of batching equipment, power tools, and safety devices to ensure optimal operation
Assist with assembly, repair, or maintenance of batching machinery using hand tools, welding techniques, or machining skills
Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents or injuries
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
Experience operating forklifts and heavy machinery in a manufacturing or construction setting
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding, machining, and assembly processes
Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures and construction site safety practices
Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions accurately
Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
Construction experience combined with knowledge of concrete batching processes enhances your effectiveness on the job
