Duties
Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including medical history and functional assessments
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals
Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to promote healing and restore mobility
Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and self-care practices
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the CPTA
Proven hospital experience with exposure to acute care environments
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in rapid-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in clinical settings is a plus but not mandatory
