Transport Car‑Fre Ltd. is looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Rebuild Mechanic to support our fleet maintenance team on a part‑time basis. This role focuses on engine tear‑downs, rebuilds, and component restoration for our heavy‑duty trucks.

Responsibilities
Rebuild and overhaul diesel engines and major components
Diagnose internal engine failures and recommend repair solutions
Perform tear‑downs, cleaning, machining prep, and reassembly
Inspect and replace pistons, bearings, injectors, seals, gaskets, and related parts
Test rebuilt engines for performance and reliability
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

Requirements
3+ years experience rebuilding diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.)
Solid mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Own basic tools; specialty tools provided
Journeyman or equivalent experience preferred

Schedule & Compensation
Part‑time hours (adaptable scheduling available)
Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
