The In-Arena Host is responsible for being the face and voice at Abbotsford Canucks home games. The In-Arena host will host contests, promotions, live and pre-recorded interviews and engaging our fans in the live Canuck experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned as required)
Attend all Abbotsford Canucks home games as In-Arena Host
Responsible for the facilitation of our in-arena contests, promotions, features, intermissions and on occasion live and pre-recorded interviews
Preparation for game hosting duties to include participation in game presentation meetings as required, collaborating on scripting elements and attending special event rehearsals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong on-camera skills and presence
Robust emceeing/hosting skills and ability to present in front of a live audience
Ability to hype up the crowd while maintaining a skilled manner
Understanding of hockey
Ability to handle several live experiences with the appropriate style (eg. Humorous, entertaining, enthusiastic, compassionate, subtle, serious, etc)
Proven ability to collaborate and work well with the team
