Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our agile culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a quick-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an prospect to develop culinary skills, work in a vibrant setting, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience and have a valid Food Handler Certificate.

Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, plating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly following food safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy periods, including meal assembly and plating




Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Solid attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards customer service
Basic understanding of the food industry trends and best practices in meal preparation
