Job Summary
The Horticultural Crew Members (Gardeners) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape maintenance and garden management within our organization. This role involves working alongside a team of horticultural staff to ensure the successful selection, planting, and maintenance of plants and gardens. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for gardening, and a comprehensive understanding of horticultural practices.

Responsibilities
Implement landscape maintenance plans that include planting, pruning, maintaining, fertilizing, and weed prevention applications.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers for plant materials and gardening supplies.
Conduct regular inspections of gardens and landscapes to assess plant health and maintenance needs.
Communicate client requests to operations managers
Train and mentor team members in best practices for horticulture and landscape management.
Collaborate with Landscape Maintenance Operations Manager to support landscaping projects and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of plant care activities, inventory, and equipment usage.





Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture management.
Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of plant species, gardening techniques, irrigation systems, and weed management strategies.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
A degree in Horticulture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
