Boreal HD is hiring a Directional Drill Operator and a Labourer. Opportunity for advancement and on site training provided.
Primary Duties:
Load, unload equipment and tools in a safe manner
Equipment Maintenance
Operating small equipment and hand tools
Inspect equipment regularly pre and post operating
Hand dig using a shovel or other mechanical tools as required
Keep an organized and safe work environment
Restore disturbed areas of the job site
Qualifications
Preferred minimum of 1 year experience working in the construction industry
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with foreman and coworkers effectively
Ability to work in a secure and skilled manner
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work long hours when necessary.
Must be in physical condition, and have the ability to squat,
bend at the knees and waist and lift 50 pounds.
Require minimum Class 5 license
Applicant must be able to work independently or as a team
Secondary Qualifications
· Directional Drilling experience or Locating Experience is an asset
· Class 3 W/ Air or Class 1 driver’s license is an asset
· Experience Operating Heavy Equipment
First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), other Safety Courses would be an asset.
