Duties:
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role
Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and various tooling
Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
Solid attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
Forklift certification is a plus
Welding experience is a plus
