Responsibilities
Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies
Follow recipes to ensure consistent quality
Decorate cakes and baked goods
Keep the kitchen clean and organized
Follow food safety and proper storage procedures
Help track ingredients and supplies
Work with the team to keep things running smoothly
Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
What we're looking for
Some experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work early mornings, evenings,
weekends, and holidays
Positive communication and a team-player mindset
Required certifications
Valid Food Safety Certificate (PEI Health Department recognized) — mandatory
WHMIS — mandatory
First Aid — an asset but not required
