Estimator / Project manager

We are seeking an Estimator/Project manager with proven experience in all aspects of commercial & industrial construction

Estimator Construction Job Responsibilities:
Preparing construction budgets; retrieving information from sub-contractors, identifying and projecting costs into phases or areas, in a time sensitive environment
Obtaining bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price
Works with Project Managers, Supervisors, and Accountants to accomplish goals.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Work with management to improve project efficiencies
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and subtrades on estimate changes, distribute CO’s, and assign PO’s
Coordinate meetings with Customers, Sales Staff, and Project Superintendents




Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work

Requirements
Excellent organizational skills
Proven experience as estimator or similar position
Familiarity with financial and project management principles
In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs etc.)
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
Ability to use scheduling software for preliminary and advanced project scheduling.
Valid class 5 driver licence

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
