Job Overview
We are looking for a personable and customer-focused Sales Associate to be the lead in our showroom. This role is responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, helping customers find the right pieces for their homes, and providing knowledgeable and personalized service.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find products that meet their needs.
Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain excellent communication skills with customers, including professional phone etiquette for remote inquiries.
Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure displays are attractive and organized.
Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including dusting and vacuuming furniture.
Support inventory management, pricing, accounts receivable, and general showroom operations as required.
Work closely and collaboratively with the sales, warehouse, delivery, and management teams.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, transactions,
and receipts.
Requirements
Previous retail sales experience preferred, with a specific interest in furniture sales.
Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a rapid-paced setting.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, transactions, and inventory counts.
Design Eye: A good eye for staging furniture and creating inviting displays
Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude and skilled demeanor.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
