Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to join our dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive orthodontic evaluations, including taking X-rays, photographs, and impressions
Diagnose dental and facial irregularities, such as malocclusions or misalignments
Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals
Install, adjust, and remove orthodontic appliances, such as braces, aligners, or retainers
Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and make necessary adjustments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment
Collaborate with other dental specialists, such as oral surgeons or periodontists, as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies
Skills:
Strong knowledge of orthodontic principles, techniques,
and procedures
Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Epic) for patient records management
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating orthodontic appliances
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for accurate adjustments
Knowledge of medical terminology related to orthodontics
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Robust attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
