Reporting to the Operations Foreman, you are accountable for all maintenance of the fertilizer spreaders, plant equipment, and delivery trucks. Must be self-motivated and accountable.
Job Responsibilities:
Repair and maintenance of fertilizer delivery trucks, plant equipment, and tow spreaders
Welding on both mild and stainless steel
Project management
Keep detailed logs of repairs and maintenance
Manual labour, including lifting
Job Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and general shop-work skills required
Forklift/skid steer experience required
Welding experience required
Able to provide prompt, friendly and skilled customer service
Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently for time sensitive tasks
Able to work in a quick-paced environment
Willing to work overtime; earlier and extended hours, including weekends, will be required in spring season
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Familiarity with Agriculture an asset
Wage: Based on experience and qualifications.
