Premier Granite & Stone is looking for a motivated and dependable Shop Helper / Production Assistant to join our growing team serving Edmonton and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the stone and countertop industry. No previous experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

This position is a versatile "floater" role that will provide support both in our fabrication shop and on installation sites. You will receive training in multiple areas of the business, allowing us to determine where your strengths and interests are while helping support the needs of our team. As you gain experience, there will be opportunities for advancement into fabrication, installation, equipment operation, and other specialized positions within the company.

Responsibilities
Report to work between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday (Saturdays as required, dependent on demand)
Assist fabricators and installers with daily tasks
Help load, unload, and move stone slabs, countertops, and materials
Assist with shop organization, cleaning, and general maintenance
Prepare materials, tools,



and work areas for fabrication and installation projects
Support countertop fabrication and finishing processes
Deliver tools, materials, and supplies to job sites when required
Assist with countertop installations and site cleanup
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe work setting
Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Qualifications

No experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will:

Be physically capable of lifting and moving materials safely
Be eager to learn new skills and take direction
Work well independently and as part of a team
Have strong attention to detail
Possess a valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
Possess fork lift license (preferred but not required)

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
