Tex Klassen is a commercial/ residential Glazing and Fabricating shop, based in Saskatoon. We thrive on the challenges that come with the diversity of our projects, it’s something that sets us apart from the competition. We work alongside a specialized steel fabrication shop that opens the doors to some unique projects.
We're always looking for quality glazier's, who want a long term home, and to do work they will be proud of.
Whether you are recent to the trade, or a seasoned journeyman, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities include:
Read and Understand blueprints and specifications
Measure & layout openings for size and shape
Measure and cut glass
Assemble, and install aluminum frames
Knowledge on how to handle/carry glass properly
Fabricate and build frames/curtain walls
Responsible for safety on job sites
Responsible for tools and materials on site
Create positive work environment
Qualifications Required:
All levels of experience needed
Construction experience is an asset
Valid Class five (5) driver’s license
Ability to speak, write and read English,
WHMIS, Aerial Lift and Fall Protection certificates is an asset
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have own tools, safety equipment/gear
Ability to work at heights
Ability to work alone or with a team
