Duties
Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse
Assist with inventory management by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
Conduct heavy lifting tasks to handle large or bulky items efficiently and safely
Perform routine mechanical checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas and maintaining a clean workspace
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with clamp trucks or order pickers is a plus
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude to understand equipment functions and perform basic troubleshooting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure precise order picking and inventory control
